Planning a trip to the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay region? Come for the sunshine and leave with a new set of guitar skills with a few intensive lessons from Douglas Lichterman!

The Visiting Guitarist Intensive Program features a series of lessons to be scheduled at your convenience during your visit to the area. An instrument can be provided during your time in my studio if you’re not bringing your own. Scheduling is flexible based on your plans and length of stay.

Sharpen your guitar skills and move up a level in just a few days as we delve into your choice of styles including Rock / Classic Rock / Alternative Rock / Progressive Rock / Heavy Metal, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Country and Funk. We’ll explore techniques including:

- Rhythm guitar / strumming techniques / rhythms
- Lead guitar / soloing / improvisation
- Songwriting / composition
- Flat picking
- Finger picking
- Ear training
- Performance skills
 -Getting the best sound out of your instrument

Lessons can be done on acoustic guitar, electric guitar or a mix of both.

The fee for lessons is $35 per hour.
