Learn to Play the Guitar

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, you have the option of meeting with me in person at my St. Petersburg home for your lessons or learning via remote live video conferencing–whichever you feel most comfortable with. You can switch back and forth between these choices at any time.

For in-person lessons, I abide by COVID-19 safety protocols recommended by the CDC that are intended to keep us all healthy. These include face masks (I wear one and require you to wear one, too) and social distancing (we will be spaced 6 feet apart during the lesson). Please review my full COVID-19 protocols here before your in-person lesson.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this time. If you have any questions or you’re a new student who wants to sign up, please feel free to contact me at 917-930-6738 or LichtermanGuitar@aol.com.

_____________

Learn with a veteran guitar teacher, longtime professional guitarist and co-author of two music instruction books.

Whatever kind of music you enjoy and want to play, we’ll follow a path that builds and emphasizes the techniques you’ll need. Our lessons will be designed to keep you interested, enthusiastic and inspired by your own progress. We won’t be using boring drills. You’ll be playing your favorite songs right away and learn techniques as your music repertoire grows.

I’m a patient and supportive teacher to all ages. My primary goal is to get you up and playing quickly so you’ll gain confidence and have the desire to practice more.
